| Sleepy Hollow Bed and Breakfast and Carriage House is a relaxing North Carolina Mountain Inn located between Asheville and Black Mountain NC, just off I-40 in Swannanoa, NC. Nestled between the Blue Ridge and Great Smoky Mountains, our charming two story home built in the early 1900's, has seven rooms with private baths and suites to accommodate two couples or larger families. The house has been lovingly restored and decorated by the current Innkeepers, Clayton and Danrae Babbitt. A 2000 square foot addition was built in 2002 in order to provide modern comfort and private bathrooms for each room. |

Sleepy Hollow Manor has the original carved wooden and stone mantels which are surrounded by colorfully painted brick hearths. Most of the seven fireplaces in the house are no longer functional, but display the dedication of craftsmanship when the house was built nearly a century ago.
The front entrance of stained glass French doors located on the second floor opens to an ornate oak staircase leading to the lower level dining and common areas. The hallway is adorned with an antique working pump organ which leads to the parlor. There are many period and older antiques and chandeliers located throughout the house and bedrooms.
Our evening hosted social hour is from 5:30 to 6:30. Located in either the parlor or lounge this is a special time to enjoy a complimentary beer or wine or other refreshments with the Innkeepers and other guests. We have board games and a large TV in our lounge for entertainment. A covered porch with rockers creates a relaxing atmosphere.
We offer a full breakfast with fresh fruit, juices, breads, biscuits, homemade jams and hot entrees in the dining room each morning. French doors in the parlor lead to our outdoor stoned covered terrace for breakfast seating if preferred. Menu varies each day.
