The Halsey House is located in the Finger Lakes region of New York State. Noted for stunning scenery, expansive lakes, gorges, waterfalls and scenic wine trails, there is always something to do and see making it a perfect romantic getaway. A half a day's drive or less from NYC, N.J., Connecticut, Mass., Pennsylvania and Ohio (to name a few) will put you in a world away from the cities. We are a great destination whether it is for a weekend getaway or an extended stay.

The Halsey House welcomes children 16 years of age and older. There is no smoking permitted indoors. There are covered porches available for guest use. All guest bedrooms are located on the second floor. Pets on site are six exotic parrots (in their own room at the rear of the house) and our aging friendly dog, Tasha.

Our on-site aviary is home to the exotic parrots who share our lives. If you have never had the chance to interact with these marvelous creatures you will be amused by their intellegence and antics.
