About our Maine Bed and Breakfast
Since 1825, guests have sojourned to the Bear Mountain Inn for a truly unique and unforgettable Maine Bed and Breakfast experience. Bear Mountain Inn is an all-season haven on Bear Lake for those who enjoy the beauty of the outdoors. Each season features its own activities and special charm.
In the spring, summer, or fall begin your day at our Maine Bed and Breakfast by taking a boat or canoe to explore and fish our well-stocked lake while enjoying the wildlife and loons. Take a walk along Bear River or hike up Bear Mountain for breathtaking views of the lakes region of Maine. The Inn provides canoes, kayaks, and paddleboats for our guests use.
In the winter our guests enjoy cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, downhill skiing, tubing, and snowmobiling. Guests may rent a snowmobile and connect to all the major snowmobile trails in Northern New England right from the Inn. Alpine skiing is enjoyed a short drive away at Sunday River or Shawnee Peak.

BEAR MOUNTAIN INN POLICY
Rates include full Country-Style Breakfast, Use of Beach, Gas Grill, Decks, Canoes, Kayak and Hiking Trail on Property.
Rates subject to 7% room tax
Two-Night reservation required on all weekends. Three-Night Minimum on all Holidays.
Early departures will be charged for the full length of their reservation
Check-In 3:00-9:00 PM
Check-Out 10:00 AM
Entire Inn available for groups. We can accommodate up to 13 single people or 26 people
in shared rooms.
One Night Deposit is required by check or credit card when making a reservation.
Bear Mountain Inn is a Smoke-Free environment. Smoking is allowed on the front porch or any of our decks.
Bear Mountain Inn has three dogs named Grizzly, Cheyenne, and Dakota and two cats named Blaze and Kitty Bear, two goats named Willow and Clover and three Rabbits.
(Pets are not allowed in the Inn)
Rooms Rates based on double occupancy in all rooms except
family Cub Den I and II. Rates vary according to season.
Children under 10 Parental supervision is required at all times.
Cancellation Policy: Room must be cancelled 30 days prior to stay to receive a refund less $20 fee. Cancellations with less than that time will receive a refund less $20only if vacancy is filled. No refund will be made with less than 72-hour notice of cancellation.
Bear Mountain Inn provides a convenience center with Coffee, Tea, Soda, Water, and Snacks. There is also a microwave and refrigerator for all our guests use.
