Geographical Settings  We are conveniently located 2 blocks from the subway and one block from the bus. The cosmopolitan neighborhoods of Park Slope and Brownstone Brooklyn are minutes away. Direction: By Car - From Manhattan (9 miles): Take the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to Prospect Expressway. (Stay in left lane to access Prospect Expressway). Prospect Expressway becomes Ocean Parkway. Make a left on Foster Avenue. Continue on Foster Avenue for 3 traffic lights. Turn right on Westminster Road. Go 1 block and turn left on Glenwood Road. Go one block and turn left on Argyle Road. The Loralei is the 5th house on the right side of the street. Look for the American flag waving from the porch and our oval Loralei plaque next to the entry door.   Policies   Major Credit Cards accepted  Non-Smoking  No Pets on Site * Please add tax of 14.75% + $3.50 per night state & local hotel tax to rates shown * Visa and Master Card are accepted * A deposit equivalent to one night's stay will be charged to your credit card to secure a reservation * Two (2) night minimum stay * No smoking on property * Check-in is prearranged between 5pm and 8pm. Special arrangements can be made for those needing to arrive earlier or later. Please contact the innkeeper one week prior to arrival to arrange a specific check-in time. Guests arriving after 9 PM will be charged a $35 late check-in fee. * This facility is not set up for the comfort of children * No pets * We have a 14 day cancellation period. Reservations canceled less than 15 days prior to arrival will be charged for one night's stay. Reservations canceled less than 8 days prior to arrival will be charged for the entire reserved stay. A $25 processing fee is charged for all cancellations. There are no refunds for shortened stays. All deposits are credited to the last night of the reservation.
