Located in New Orleans’ historic Faubourg Marigny just two blocks from the French Quarter and four blocks from Frenchman Street (popular with the neighborhood's locals), at Chez Palmiers you'll be within easy walking distance of many of the sites, restaurants, bars and clubs, and the characters and music that have made New Orleans famous. Public transportation is not far way, making it easy to explore other parts of the city as well.
Owner operators Schuyler Hoffman and David Peterson invite you to relax and enjoy your stay in New Orleans in their traditional Creole Cottage. Originally built in the late 1800's, it was renovated in the mid 1990's. What we have tried to create is a home, not just bedrooms for guests—it is, after all, our home. Furnishings are a mix of some of our favorite antiques and newer things—interesting pieces we find at yard sales, hidden antique shops, and such. Each room contains personal photographs and artwork, and memorabilia and chatkas we've accumulated and carried around with us over the years. Everyone looking for a bed and breakfast looks for a place that fits their personality, a place they'll be comfortable in for more than just sleeping each night. We hope many of you will find that place with us. |

We will charge your credit card 1 night's rate when your reservation is confirmed. If cancelled by 6:00 p.m. Central Time at least 14 days prior to check-in date, we will refund your deposit, minus a $50.00 cancellation fee. Your deposit will not be refunded if cancelled after that time. The entire stay will be charged to your credit card for cancellations made 48 hours or less prior to arrival. There is no credit for late arrivals or early departures. Please note: The balance due will be charged to your credit card on the day of your arrival; Full payment for Special Events/Holidays, Mardi Gras and Jazz Fest, and when booking all three rooms is required at least 30 days in advance of the arrival date.
Arrival Time: Please specify an arrival time as realistic as possible. We are not around 24/7 and cannot always be available for late check-ins or if you arrive later than you originally informed us. We ask that you update us with your arrival time at least 48 hours in advance.
SMOKING POLICY: All guest rooms and indoor areas of the house are non-smoking. Smoking is permitted on the deck and in the yard as long as it does not interfere with the enjoyment of our other guests. Burning candles or incense in guest rooms or common areas of the house is prohibited.
PETS AND CHILDREN: Sorry, no pets allowed. Families with children 13 or older are welcome. Children younger than 13 may be allowed if the group is booking all three rooms.
BREAKFAST: A continental breakfast is available each morning. By city ordinance, B&B's in New Orleans are not permitted to serve prepared meals.
