Irving House is located at 24 Irving Street in Cambridge. Like Boston, Cambridge is a walking city. If you can arrive without a car, all the better. One way streets and limited parking conditions favor pedestrians. Buses and subways are nearby. Bring comfortable footwear. We lend umbrellas and hand out maps. There's LOTS to do within a 15 minute walk.
Directions: By Car Harvard Square From the river coming up JFK Street, or Boston/Central Square on Mass Ave--bear right as you see Harvard Yard on right. You will go under Yard, bear left in underpass; turn left onto Quincy Street. Turn right on Kirkland; Irving Street is 3rd right. #24 is just after large brick building. Driveway is just beyond house. Mass Pike (Route 90) Take "Brighton/Cambridge" exit (from the West it is a left exit). There is an exit toll of $1. Follow signs for Cambridge & get in left lane. Turn left BEFORE you cross bridge, onto Soldiers Field Road Exit at Harvard Square Memorial drive Exit at Harvard Square. You will be on JFK Street. Storrow Drive Exit at Harvard Square, cross the river. You will be on JFK Street. Route 93 from the North Exit Storrow Drive/Cambridge. Follow Storrow Drive to Harvard Square exit. Route 93 from the South Stay on 93 North thru Boston. Exit Storrow Dr/Cambridge. Follow Storrow Drive, to Exit at Harvard Square Logan Airport Follow signs for Boston & Route 93 North, exit Cambridge/Storrow Drive Take Storrow Drive to Harvard Square. |

Rates vary with the season, size of room and whether it has a private or shared bath. Rooms which share a bath share several baths in the hall way. The ratio of sharing is about 1 bath to 1.6 people.
All Rates Include: off street parking, local phone calls, DSL internet access & hearty continental breakfast. Peak rates apply to specific event times occurring in Cambridge. - Mid May to early June is Commencement Season. - The Head of the Charles Regatta is in mid October. Rates are subject to change. (Up or DOWN!) THERE IS A 12.45% ROOM TAX TO BE APPLIED ALL RATES. For larger rooms, add $15 per additional adult (18yrs ) and $5 per additional child (7-17 yrs) There is no charge for children under 7. We provide cribs for infants, please request when reserving
CANCELLATION POLICY: Once you have made a reservation, confirming with a credit card, you may cancel this reservation without penalty until 24 hours prior to arrival. If your plans change and you must cancel, call us. You will get a cancellation number. This is your proof that you have canceled.
* ROOM TAX: There is a room tax of 12.45% on all prices. All guests are subject to this tax except government employees on government business who provide a voucher on the proper letterhead indicating the dates of arrival and departure and the name of the guest.
